How to Void a Booking in eZee FrontDesk

Understanding Booking Void in eZee FrontDesk

If a booking was entered into the software by mistake, it can be removed using the Void Operation.

Steps to Void a Booking

  • Click on the Navigation Button.
  • Select Front Office > Booking List.
  • Click on the Arrival Date field and select the date of the booking.
  • Click Search to display all bookings for the selected date.
  • If a room is allocated to the booking, it cannot be voided until the rooming is removed.
  • To remove rooming:
    • Edit the booking.
    • Click on Group Options.
    • Select Undo Rooming.
  • Once rooming is undone:
    • Select the booking.
    • Click Void.
    • Choose a reason from the list.
    • If the reason is not listed, click the + button and enter the reason manually.
  • Click Continue, and the booking will be voided successfully.

Viewing Voided Bookings

  • Navigate to Report View.
  • Search for Void Report Booking under the Audit and Void Section.
