How to Put Rooms in Out of Order Status in eZee Frontdesk
Purpose of Out of Order Status
Rooms may become unavailable for guest assignments due to maintenance, repairs, or other reasons. eZee Frontdesk allows users to mark rooms as Out of Order or Out of Service for a specified period.
Note: An occupied or reserved room cannot be marked as Out of Order.
Steps to Mark a Room as Out of Order
- Go to Front Office.
- Select Out of Order.
- Click on Mark Out of Order.
- Set the duration for which the room will be out of order.
- Select the room(s) to be marked as Out of Order.
- Enter the reason for marking the room as Out of Order.
- Click on Finish.
Viewing Out of Order Rooms
- Stay View: Shows the reason for each day the room is out of order.
- House Status: Filters and displays all Out of Order rooms.
- List View:
- Select Out of Order Status.
- View the list of all rooms marked as Out of Order.
- Report View:
- Check the Block Room Report for detailed information on blocked rooms.
